The state is fully covering the costs of medical treatment in foreign countries of those injured in the Kocani nightclub fire, authorities have adamantly said. On Saturday, the Government stated that each family impacted by the Kocani would get an initial financial assistance of 150,000 denars.
Ivica Tomovski, head of the General and Common Affairs Service, stressed that the payment was expected to start on Monday (24 March).
Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski stated that starting from the following week, the return to the country of those receiving treatment abroad whose condition was good would start. Teams from Israel and Great Britain are helping prepare the plan for the return, rehabilitation, and further treatment in North Macedonia.
