Mustafa Hajrullahi, the suspended Chief of the Skopje Higher Prosecutor’s Office, said on Wednesday he’d filed a criminal charge for abuse of office against Chief Prosecutor Kocevski, Stip Higher Prosecutor Stip Tatjana Kacarova, Stip Higher Prosecutor’s Office Chief Risto Bojadziski, and Council of Public Prosecutors member Ermon Neziri.
However, several hours later, at around 3:30 pm, the Stip Office said it hadn’t received the charge.
“If it is received, it will be assigned to a relevant public prosecutor”, it stated, adding that the investigation against Hajrullahi was at the final stage. Hajrullahi, however, said he’d sent the documents by mail and expected them to arrive 6 March.
