On the occasion of the first year of the government’s term, Health Minister Azir Aliu, who was elected to the position last month, has stated that salaries had increased and the undefined status of private residents had been resolved.
Regarding the open cabinet activity with citizens on Friday, the Minister stressed at Monday’s press-conference that he’d heard good ideas, adding that some citizens had complained to him they hadn’t received health services.
Aliu also stated that citizens had reported that health workers had asked for a bribe from them. However, the Ministry will check the reports and then decide whether to start processes before judicial institutions.
The Minister didn’t say which institutions employed the patients. Regarding the request by persons with diabetes related to therapy, he stated that all processes and services would be based on data.
