On Wednesday, which was the last day of the deadline, the Agency for National Security sent the documents requested by the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) to determine whether Bojan Hristovski meets criteria to head that institution.
The case, opened following an anonymous tip 15 days ago, concerns Hristovski’s length of service, experience, education qualifications, and TOEFL certificate issued in Bulgaria. There’ve been no details as to what the documents from the Agency contain and whether, in line with that institution’s practice, they are classified, which would prevent efforts to make a decision on the matter swiftly.
