Hungarian Loan: Minister Expects Companies to Be Able to Get Funds before New Year’s

Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Kocoska expects that companies in North Macedonia will be able to start using the 250 million euros from the Hungarian loan before New Year’s. She said on Thursday those expectations were based on her communication with PM Hristijan Mickoski.

However, it’s still unknown when the public call for companies will be announced, as well as what criteria and conditions they will have to meet to get money.

Regarding the procedure to transfer the entire loan, 500 million euros, it is underway. The money’s expected to reach the accounts in North Macedonia next week. The other half of the loan will be allocated to municipalities for projects.
