In an interview with the Top Tema (Top Topic) show on Telma, Interior Minister Pance Toskovski again said he would like to see Artan Grubi dare and return to the country to prove, as he claimed, that he was crystal clean.
“The Interior Ministry has the capacity to guarantee his safety”, Toskovski added.
The former Deputy PM, who is a suspect in the Lottery case and was blacklisted by the US on 9 December, according to Toskovski, for now, formally speaking, is not a fugitive, but rather a person inaccessible to prosecution organs. Regarding the police officer charged in the case, B.J., the Minister said he had had the right to hold Grubi.
“Had he held him and after a public prosecutor would have been notified, the latter would have provided instructions for further action. When it comes to whether there was organization by multiple persons that allowed the person in question to leave Macedonia, whether the person is involved in the frames of unlawful activities, we will leave it to the Prosecutor’s Office to complete the investigation”, Toskovski stressed.
