500 clearance documents of former officials will be checked by the Interior Ministry, Minister Pance Toskovski said on Monday. The process will cover also the clearance of the new Director of the Agency for National Security, Bojan Hristovski.
“We will check information about 500 officials over whom there are indications about wrongdoing on their part in terms of proper evidence not matching required legal procedure. The Interior Ministry will act according to the law. Process activities have been taken in several procedures,” the Minister stated.
Last week, during the Q&A session in Parliament, PM Hristijan Mickoski, answering a question about Hristovski, took out a folder containing, as he said, “similar English certificates of directors appointed by SDSM”, adding that he would hand them over to Toskovski.
According to a 360 Stepeni (360 Degrees) investigative story, Julia CO.LTD, the company referred to in Hristovski’s CV as the one that issued his TOEFL certificate in 2022, hasn’t declared incomes with the Bulgarian trade registry since 2016, based on data posted on the registry’s website.
