Director of the Gynaecology Clinic at the Mother Teresa Clinic Centre in Skopje, Viktorija Jovanovska, announced that two special commissions, one from the Clinic and one form the Health Ministry, will investigate the case with the baby whose arm was fractured during delivery at the clinic.
Jovanovska denies the accusations that the injury of the baby was a result of doctors’ negligence.
“Doctors intervened and the baby is now in a stable condition. I had a meeting with his parents and explained them the situation, that injuries like these may occur depending on the position of the baby during delivery,” Jovanovska explained.
The baby was born on 30 December 2023, and his parents claim that as a result of doctors’ negligence, it gained a fracture on its arm.
