Day 2 of the EU-North Macedonia JPC meeting in Strasbourg, chaired by MP Ivanka Vasilevska and MEP Karlo Ressler, focused on topics related to perspectives of the accession process, regional cooperation and stability, the environment, transport, energy, and infrastructure connectivity.
There was also a discussion on digitalization and AI. The meeting ended with joint recommendations passed by the delegations from both North Macedonia’s Parliament and the EP.
One of the recommendations is for North Macedonia to, without delay, move to the next stage of accession by fulfilling the previously assumed obligations, including also the constitutional changes.
