Judiciary, Zvonko Mucunski Issue, and DUI’s Vetting Demand among Topics Debated at Q&A Session of Parliament

At Thursday’s Q&A session of Parliament, PM Hristijan Mickoski again criticized the judiciary and Chief Prosecutor Ljupco Kocevski.

“There are opposition party MPs who, instead of taking the side of the voice of the people, have stood in the defence of Kocevski. Considering the confidence level in the Prosecutor’s Office is not higher than 2-3%, that begs the question as to whose voice they are representing when they’re defending Kocevski”, he noted.

At the session, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski denied that his father, Zvonko Mucunski, a Ministry employee, too, had been sending emails from the institution’s official address to employees.

The session also saw DUI ask a question about the issue of vetting of politicians. Deputy Justice Minister Alen Dereban, however, said it was hypocritical for the party that was an example of “crime and corruption” to demand such a process.
