Justice Minister Filkov on Public Debates Issue and Trajkoska Strezoski Election

On Wednesday, regarding the public debates concerning the Judicial Council and Public Prosecutor’s Office Laws, Justice Minister Igor Filkov said they would start next month and be all-encompassing.

“They will be open to suggestions and critique from all relevant actors,” the Minister underlined, adding that the goal was to create texts that would guarantee that those institutions would be independent.

As far as the election of Irina Trajkoska Strezoski as Academy for Judges and Prosecutors President, in a secret vote procedure, is concerned, Filkov believes the process should have been transparent.
