KAS Office Head Braun and Minister Mucunski Comment on EU Path

At a discussion on challenges facing NATO, Europe, and enlargement, held on Thursday at the Foreign Ministry, Daniel Braun, Head of the KAS office for North Macedonia and Kosovo, said if the EU faced tariffs by the US such as the ones introduced for Mexico and Canada, countries that were not members of the organisation, too, would be impacted.

In his view, the new geopolitical situation can perhaps provide the power for bilateral disputes to be overcome because Germany was united in terms of some matters not being stalled.

The KAS Office Head also stated that he understood the frustration and justified disappointment of citizens in North Macedonia and the region. Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, in his address, stated that EU integration remained high on the agenda of the cabinet, adding that there was committed work on achieving the strategic goal.
