Kasami Says Taravari wasn’t Excluded from VLEN

BESA leader and Tetovo Mayor Bilall Kasami has denied Arben Taravari’s Alliance for Albanians wing was expelled from VLEN. As he points out, Taravari left the coalition on his own and has gone to DUI.

“Everyone going to DUI to collaborate with it represents leaving”, he points out.

When it comes to VLEN’s Parliamentary Group, Bekim Qoku, who’s considered a representative of Kosovo’s Albin Kurti’s Self-Determination Movement, will be the Coordinator. The Group will consist of nine parliamentarians. However, such a notification hasn’t been submitted to Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi’s Cabinet.

VLEN will officially be split into two parts in the frames of the legislative house if a decision is made at Taravari’s meeting with PM Hristijan Mickoski for the former’s wing to leave the cabinet.

In such a scenario, the ruling majority will decrease from 78 to 73 MP seats. There will be coordination for the meeting, Taravari has confirmed, once PM Hristijan Mickoski returns from his official visit abroad.
