In the frames of the Kocani case, the Stip Appeals Court has rejected as unfounded the appeals filed by Kreshnik Bekteshi, Nikolco Ilijev and Ratko Dimitrovski, which means the ex-Economy Minister will stay in detention and the ex-Kocani Mayors will continue to be under house arrest.
Razmena Cekic Durovic, the former State Secretary at the Economy Ministry that signed off on the second licence for the Pulse nightclub to perform hospitality activity, will stay in detention too.
The Court has acted on eight appeals and accepted only one, which has resulted in a Vinica inspector of the State Market Inspectorate who was under house arrest being issued measures of precaution instead. Regarding Bekteshi, his party, DUI, again said the decision was a clear example of selective justice.
