Kocani Fire Death Toll Increases to 62

The Kocani fire death toll has increased to 62, i.e. on Thursday, Stojance Stefanov from Kocani, born in 2001, who was receiving treatment in Belgrade for severe burns and a serious level of smoke inhalation, passed away.

Stefanov condition had been critical since the start, authorities explained in a press-release.

“The Health Ministry is extending deepest condolences to his family and to all affected by the Kocani tragedy”, the institution headed by Arben Taravari also said.

Currently, 45 people injured in the fire are receiving treatment abroad.
