Kocani Fire: Prosecutors’ Activities Continuing, DUI again Levels Criticism

Among the activities being carried out by the team of prosecutors formed to investigate the Kocani tragedy are processes of questioning of employees of institutions that had competence with regards to the Pulse nightclub.

So far, however, it hasn’t been revealed which institutions it’s about and when the investigation will be potentially expanded to cover other areas. When it comes to DUI, it has reiterated its stand that the investigation is being carried out politically.

As the party’s Arta Bilalli-Zendeli stated on Tuesday, ex-Economy Minister Bekteshi, who’s among the suspects, never set foot in Kocani and didn’t have the competence regarding safety checks of facilities or controls of bars.

When it comes to SDSM leader Venko Filipce, he confirmed he would present on 02 April the plan for the leaders’ meeting on the Kocani fire with PM Mickoski in Parliament.
