Commenting on the Market Vision poll, PM Dimitar Kovacevski said on Monday the figures had been prepared by VMRO-DPMNE, whereas the reality was that his party, SDSM, had good economic results that citizens acknowledged.
On the other hand, opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski stated that Kovacevski had a bad sense of humour, adding that the elections would show whose policies were better.
Both Kovacevski and Mickoski are adamant they will win the double elections next year. VMRO-DPMNE still hasn’t made a decision on participation in the caretaker cabinet, which will need to start to function on 28 January.
However, Mickoski’s stand is that his party should be part of it and delegate caretaker ministers. The names are still unknown. What’s known is that soon, a leaders’ meeting will be held for a deal to be reached on details over the whole process.
