Kovacevski Asks whether Mickoski Asked for and Held Meeting with Ahmeti

PM Dimitar Kovacevski has asked whether and why VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski asked for and held meetings with DUI leader Ali Ahmeti.

As the PM said on Saturday, the opposition is today spreading tensions on ethnic grounds and even though it is criticising DUI, VMRO-DPMNE and Ahmeti’s party were ruling coalition partners for 11 years.

“Those same parties that are now pretending to be lions were for 11 years like kittens in a coalition with that party, DUI, which they are talking about. I want to ask, if you can, ask, too, whether the VMRO-DPMNE leader and the members of his senior leadership, can share publicly how many times over the past six months they have asked for and held a meeting with the DUI leader and senior officials of the party and what they talked about at those meetings, if such meetings were held,” the PM stated.

Mickoski denied he had asked for a meeting with Ahmeti.
