Kulakova Case: Prosecutor Bubevski Explains Premeditation Aspect, Girl’s Father Says Neither Jovanov nor Parents Remorseful

Commenting on the case of Frosina Kulakova, the girl ran over and killed last week on Partizanski Odredi Boulevard, Gavril Bubevski, Chief of the Skopje Basic Prosecutor’s Office, said on Tuesday it had been determined that the suspect, Vasil Jovanov, had ran a red light, which meant the act could only be classified as a premeditated one.

The same day, in an interview with Sitel, Kulakova’s father, Todor Kulakov, said he had information that there were attempts to transfer the suspect to another institution.

“We demand that his be stopped right away”, he noted, adding that Jovanov should be sentenced to life in prison.
