Languages Law Session: Siljanovska Davkova Recommends Judges Adhere to Constitution and Be Brave

On Monday, President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, regarding the Law on Languages preparatory session, said that though she didn’t want to influence the Darko Kostadinovski-headed institution, she had a general recommendation for its Judges.

“Let them adhere to the Constitution, defend the Constitution, be brave, adhere to the Venice Commission’s recommendations. That way, they will not make a mistake. Let them ignore politicians when they make the decision”, she noted.

Kostadinovski stated that he would present more information on the matter on Wednesday. The session was supposed to be held on 20 March, but it was postponed out of respect for those killed and injured in the 16 March Kocani fire.
