On Sunday, VMRO-DPMNE MP Mile Lefkov said his party was starting a series of press-conferences about, as he stressed, situations in which Bisera Kostadinovska-Stojcevska, during her term as the Culture Minister, would throw taxpayer money around. Stressing that the case was dubbed “Bisera Antoinette” [a reference to Marie Antoinette], Lefkov pointed out that during an official visit to London in October of last year, Kostadinovska-Stojcevska, over a four-day period, had spent 714 pounds in taxpayer money on, inter alia, footballs, teddy bears, suitcases, socks, and tights.
However, the former Minister dismissed the accusations as false and “being part of a low and miserable campaign of VMRO-DPMNE to personally degrade me”.
