Ljupco Kocevski Elected Chief Public Prosecutor

With 62 votes in favour, Parliament elected on Tuesday Ljupco Kocevski as Chief Public Prosecutor.

During the discussion, VMRO-DPMNE MPs said electing a Chief Public Prosecutor one day before the elections were scheduled and 84 days before the processes themselves was scandalous. In response, majority representatives said the ruling coalition had worked in the interest of citizens.

“We should fight corruption and crime. We don’t stop,” SDSM MP Zaklina Lazareska pointed out.
