M-NAV Trade Union Puts Strike on Hold

The M-NAV Flight Control Trade Union has decided to put on hold the strike announced for 25 December and New Year’s. On Thursday, the Union’s Edmond Kaliqi explained the reasons.

“One is to see the manner of selection of employment in the frames of the employment competition. The other reason is that we have eight student controllers whose contracts still haven’t been extended. The third reason is that we have a lot of people living abroad and tourists that want to visit the country,” he noted.

The Union’s President, Aleksandar Tasevski, said the employment competition would be followed, adding that the Union would be part of the selection process too.
