Mexhiti, Kasami, and Gashi among Carriers of VLEN’s MP Candidate Lists

On Thursday, the VLEN coalition announced the names of its carriers of MP candidate lists.

Democratic Movement leader Izet Mexhiti will head the list in Electoral District 1, Alternative leader Afrim Gashi in Electoral District 2, BESA leader Bilall Kasami in Electoral District 6. In Electoral District 5, the carrier will be from Alliance for Albanians.

However, a decision still hasn’t been made on that. The coalition’s presidential candidate, Arben Taravari of Alliance for Albanians, stated on behalf of VLEN that not only his coalition, but also no party from the ethnic Albanian bloc would join a coalition government not committed to resuming North Macedonia’s EU path.
