First Deputy PM and Environment Minister Izet Mexhiti, commenting on the recent reports in the media about talks between ruling parties for eventual changes to national symbols, like the coat of arms, denied that talks about the coat of arms of the country have taken place.
“We are not talking about this matter at the moment, but between the ruling allies there are no taboos. Dilemmas about the coat of arms or the national anthem will not result with problems in the ruling alliance, because we have the necessary democratic capacities to face our arguments and find solutions”, Mexhiti said.
