PM Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM leader Venko Filipce will hold a meeting at 2 pm tomorrow (03 April), both the Government and SDSM confirmed Kanal 5 on Wednesday.
Earlier that day, Mickoski had said he was ready to meet Filipce if the SDSM leader really had a plan and desire to help.
“I am at his disposal at any time. I will adjust my schedule so that I can hear Filipce’s plan and see whether something can be resolved through it”, he stressed.
Asked whether his party, VMRO-DPMNE, would have a joint stand on the issue of electing an Acting Mayor of Kocani (following the Government’s acceptance of Ljupco Papazov’s resignation) in order for there to be no crisis is in the city following the tragedy and resignation, Mickoski stated that though there hadn’t been talks with Council members over a potential candidate, an Acting Mayor would definitely be elected.
Regarding the accusations between VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonijo Milososki and Justice Minister Igor Filkov, who’s part of ZNAM, the PM stated that everyone could have a bad day.
Asked whether there were problems with VLEN, the PM said he didn’t have the feeling that that was so.
When it comes to Angel Samarakov, who, in the capacity of member of his security detail, has been issued a 30-day detention measure in the case in which he’s suspected of disclosing official secrets, the PM stated that criminal activities would be penalized, even if they were committed by people in his closest surrounding.
