Mickoski: I don’t Agree with “North”, but I Have to Respect Constitution

PM Hristijan Mickoski, commenting on the Law on Use of Languages, said that even though he finds many things to be problematic, he is bound to respect the laws and the Constitution.

“For example, I am against the use of the adjective ‘North’ before the name “Macedonia’, but as long as I am PM, I am bound to respect that. Sometime we do not like the reality, but if we truly fight for rule of law, we must accept it. No one should apply pressure over the courts and other judicial organs, no matter how much the previous government of SDSM and DUI decrease the trust of the citizens in the judiciary,” Mickoski said.

He then added that the situation in the state remains stable, even though, as he said, certain groups are ready to cause incidents only to protect their crimes.
