“We announced that there would be a fight against crime and corruption. The reform was supported by 500,000 citizens,” PM-designate Hristijan Mickoski said on Wednesday in response to outgoing Justice Minister Krenar Lloga’s reactions over the plans to disband both the Judicial Council and the Council of Public Prosecutors.
However, he added that he would not start the process without previously hearing out experts.
The PM-designate doesn’t believe that the US and EU would oppose such a step. He also criticised Lloga for, as he stressed, failing to increase the level of trust in the judiciary.
