At Monday’s marking of VMRO-DPMNE’s 34th birthday, party leader and PM-designate Hristijan Mickoski said the party was now united and strong.
“It remains what it has always been, a party of the people,” he stated.
Mickoski, who’s expected to submit the government formation proposal to Parliament on Tuesday, said that the party would form the new cabinet in several days. Once again, he urged future officials to roll up their sleeves because, as he stressed, there will be hard work and strong reforms in the period ahead.
According to Mickoski, despite the differences with SDSM and other parties, he will work on building single state positions on the country’s strategic matters.
“I am extending to them an arm for Macedonian national unity,” he underlined.
Regarding some stands that VMRO-DPMNE has given too many positions to VLEN, the PM-designate said his party was neither giving nor taking.
“As long as they work according to the law, the coalition partners will be equal partners,” Mickoski emphasised, adding that if somebody, even from VMRO-DPMNE, deviated, they would be held to account.
