During a visit to Stip, on Friday, Education and Science Minister Vesna Janevska used the country’s constitutional name.
“Today, we had a truly productive and constructive meeting with the Mayor of Stip [Ivan Jordanov] and the Rector of Goce Delcev University [Dejan Mirakovski], at which we covered multiple aspects from all levels of education.
It’s a great satisfaction that we’ve reached a conclusion that we should carry out and integration process in multiple areas and that a strategy should be developed for better education in primary, secondary, and higher education in the Republic of Macedonia, where…, pardon me, in the Republic of North Macedonia, where we expect improvement of the overall quality in education,” she stated.
As the Minister explained, the pause during her comments was just a reflection of the feelings that the majority of ethnic Macedonians have about the sacrifice they are making towards approximation with the EU.
