Minister Mexhiti and PM Kovacevski Comment on Health Sector Topics

Health Minister Fatmir Mexhiti said on Monday he would raise at the Government’s session the following day the issue of persons with temporary service contracts in the health sector.

Answering a journalist’s question, the Minister said there would be medicines for oncology patients. When it comes to the Clinic Centre’s reorganisation process, according to PM Dimitar Kovacevski, it will be carried out after the elections.

“Let’s be real. There is no need whatsoever for 60 directors, 60 organisational directors, on a territory of one square kilometre,” he stated.

Monday also saw the Academy of Sciences and Arts receive new equipment, worth 580,000 euros, for genetic testing.
