On Tuesday, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski had a phone conversation with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas. The latter confirmed the continued support for North Macedonia’s European integration.
Also, according to the Foreign Ministry’s press-release, Mucunski reaffirmed North Macedonia’s commitment to European values, the rule of law, dialogue, and good-neighbourly cooperation, as cornerstones of the EU accession process.
Regarding regional connectivity, he underlined the support for Corridor 8 as a strategic priority for integration of the region from an infrastructure standpoint.
There was an exchange of opinions on the Middle East situation as well, while the need to respect international law and avoid further escalation was highlighted.
