Minister Murtezani Meets Papadopoulou and Plakiotakis during Greece Visit

During his visit to Greece, European Affairs Orhan Murtezani met with that country’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexandra Papadopoulou. Among the topics they discussed were the Prespa Agreement, bilateral relations, and EU path of North Macedonia and the region. Regarding the integration road, Murtezani expressed gratitude for Greece’s support.

Also, there was a discussion on the obstacles facing Skopje on its road to membership.

As far as Prespa is concerned, opinions were exchanged on the challenges, but also on mechanisms through which both sides could proactively address issues stemming from implementation, North Macedonia’s Foreign Ministry said in the press-release.

The EU path was among the topics also at Murtezani’s meeting with Ioannis Plakiotakis, Deputy Parliament Speaker and Chair of the European Affairs Committee.

They also talked about parliamentary diplomacy. In addition, in an interview, Murtezani described Greece as the greatest friend and supporter on North Macedonia’s EU road.
