Minister Taravari Calls on Those Part of Tragic Event to Check Themselves in

On Monday, at a press-conference, Health Minister Arben Taravari stated that the condition of those injured in the Kocani nightclub fire was generally stable, except when it came to 20, whose condition was critical.

“Potential complications are expected today and tomorrow”, he noted.

Patients that were initially being treated at health institutions in Kocani in Stip are now receiving treatment in Skopje. The condition of those sent to receive treatment abroad, 51 so far, is generally stable.

“However, a new problem is emerging in terms of patients that didn’t check themselves in yesterday doing so today. I would like to send a message to all part of the tragic event that didn’t check themselves in yesterday. I am asking them to be checking themselves in today”, he stated, adding that the situation was under control and fewer complications were expected.
