“The Ministry of Defence has the capacity to respond to the request to treat injured Ukrainian soldiers, but that issue falls under the competence of the Health Ministry, with which we have communication on a regular basis,” Minister Slavjanka Petrovska said at the Open Day for the public in Stip on Saturday, marking the 75th anniversary of NATO and fourth anniversary of North Macedonia’s integration into the Alliance.
As she pointed out, in the event of a need, considering a concrete request for treatment of Ukrainian soldiers hasn’t arrived, special attention will be paid in terms of the offered support and help not impacting regular processes in the public health sector.
