SDSM MP and Deputy Speaker Jovan Mitreski has requested that Speaker Afrim Gashi task the Committee on Rules of Procedure and Mandatory-Immunity Issues with convening a session where there will be interpretation of Article 126 paragraph 3, that is, action over the Defenders Draft-Law will be identical to what was done during the procedure to adopt the legislation concerning the 500-million-euro loan from Hungary.
As Mitreski explained at a press-conference on Wednesday, he has filed the request because he disagrees with Gashi’s explanation over that Article of the Rules of Procedure.
“Considering he convened the Finance and Budget Committee over the Hungarian loan on the basis of the same Article, which is in fact his obligation, too, according to the Rules of Procedure, he can do the same over the Defenders Draft-Law,” the SDSM MP and Deputy Speaker stressed.
