Though the Bitola-based Bulgarian association named after Vancho Mihailov has been erased from the Central Registry for 18 months, Bulgaria’s flag is still waved on the facility and activities, shared by members on social media, haven’t stopped.
On the eve of Bitola Liberation Day, the Facebook page posted a video presenting, as it was said, the third edition of Vojdan Cernordrinski’s “Macedonian Blood Wedding”.
“We publish original documents, original texts, without the corrections,” the book’s promoter, Kalin Krumov said.
MP and Deputy Speaker Vesna Bendevska said she would notify the Prosecutor’s Office over the provocations and violation of the Macedonian national sentiments.
“I will ask that they find a way to use the provision of Article 66 of the Law on Associations and Foundations, which foresees that every citizen can launch an initiative before a public prosecutor for a ban on performing of activity by an association of citizens,” she stressed.
