On Monday, Foreign Affairs Minister Timco Mucunski delivered an address at the High-Level Segment of the 58th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva.
The Council is the most important forum to deal with challenges obstructing the exercise and protection of human fundamental human rights around the world, the Minister pointed out. Respecting democratic principles, human rights, human dignity, and the rule of law, Mucunski also said, are universal values that everyone must respect.
At the same time, the Minister confirmed his country’s commitment to achieving the highest standards in the area of protection and consistent implementation of human rights at a national level.
