In an interview with Kanal 5, Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski says that at the bilateral meetings in the frames of the NATO Summit in Washington, the country’s delegation received understanding and respect.
However, he adds that the Prespa Agreement topic was being opened very little.
“We don’t think there is a problem. We think that with our actions, we respect the Prespa Agreement,” the Minister underlines.
According to Mucunski, though the neighbouring countries differently interpret the Agreement, the reality is incorporated in the text itself.
Regarding Bulgaria, he says the new government in Skopje is ready to accept constitutional changes that would enter into force once EU membership comes in order for the two countries to be equal during the negotiations process.
