Foreign Affairs Minister Timco Mucunski voiced disappointment with the latest statements of the President of the Macedonian team in the Macedonian-Bulgarian History Commission, Dragi Gjorgiev.
“I am quite surprised to see a scientist, who by the way is quite well paid by the country to do his job, to profile himself in political context, despite the fact that he is still President of the Macedonian team in the Commission, which seriously dents the positions of the country in foreign policy. I am disappointed by the different positioning I am seeing in the last couple of days,” Mucunski said.
Previously, PM Hristijan Mickoski announced that the government intends to change the composition of the Macedonia team in the Commission, while Gjorgiev responded that such a decision is politically motivated.
