Vice-president of VMRO-DPMNE Timco Mucunski announced on Thursday evening that the executive committee has approved party leader Hristijan Mickoski to choose candidates for the ministerial positions in the caretaker government.
“I would like to clarify that VMRO-DPMNE decided to participate in the caretaker government that is expected to become effective on or after 28 January, but we shall abstain from voting in the Parliament for a caretaker government headed by Talat Xhaferi. At the same time, we shall initiative talks with potential allies for forming an alliance for the upcoming election in May 2024,” Mucunski informed.
He also added that the names of the candidates VMRO-DPMNE will nominate as ministers in the caretaker government will be revealed after 19 January.
