On Wednesday, the inauguration session for formation of the Council on Coordination of NATO Activities was held.
“The formation of the Council is a direct need from our membership in the Alliance. Taking into account the challenges to security and stability facing us as part of the Euro-Atlantic community, this Council solidifies our resilience,” caretaker PM Talat Xhaferi said.
The UK’s Ambassador, Matthew Lawson, in his address to the first meeting of the Council, stated that the structure was important when it came to coordinating the work between institutions and North Macedonia’s role as a member of the Alliance.
