The constitutive session of the new composition of the Pardons Commission was held on Tuesday. President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova said she was convinced that the Commission, with its work and by respecting the principles of transparency, accountability, equality, humanity, and understanding, would contribute to a higher level of institutional confidence, as well as that the decisions would be an example of how democratic values were respected.
She expects all decisions to be in line with public interest and values of society.
“Every case will be considered with the highest level of professionalism, in the frames of a procedure laid down by the law,” her Cabinet added in the press-release.
Milka Ristova is the head of the new composition, which also comprises Dragana Batic, Blerta Ahmedi, Afet Mamuti, Aleksandra Gruevska Drakuelvski, and Doan Sulejmanoski.
