North Macedonia’s one-year presidency of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) has ended.
On Thursday, outgoing Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani praised the reaching of consensus over two important matters, that is, the nomination of Amer Kapetanovic as Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) Secretary General and the Skopje Summit Declaration, which, as he said, was supported by Ministers and will be forwarded for adoption by representatives at the Summit.
Regarding the EU path, Osmani again said there was no alternative to membership. The outgoing Foreign Minister stressed that the region should choose diplomacy as opposed to violence.
