“You are overstepping competences and harming the pre-investigation proceedings,” Chief Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski told Oncology Clinic Committee of Inquiry members on Friday.
As he added, they should seek political, not criminal, accountability. The Constitution, Joveski added, forbids the Chief Public Prosecutor from testifying about active criminal proceedings.
Regarding the document made public the previous day, SDSM MP Nenad Kocic said it had most likely been submitted by the Committee.
“That is not the case. The Committee doesn’t have such documents,” Mizrahi stated. Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski said his institution was working on solving the case.
