On Tuesday, Parliament voted through the amendment filed by VMRO-DPMNE and ZNAM according to which licences for work at kindergartens will be issued in Macedonian to all, while if a person requests such a document in another language, they will be issued one.
The rejection of amendments to the Law on Protection of Children filed by SDSM and Levica sparked political accusations, especially over the problems to take the exam required for licences that hasn’t functioned for three years.
According to the majority’s second amendment, exams will be held electronically, while, if necessary, in the event of problems with the electronic system, that will be done on paper.
