Parties’ Reactions to Pendarovski’s Address in Parliament

“We witnessed a statesperson-like address by President Stevo Pendarovski, as President of all citizens,” SDSM MP Martin Kostovski said regarding the President’s annual address in Parliament.

As he added, SDSM welcomes the President’s stand on EU integration. DUI Parliamentary Group Coordinator Arber Ademi said all topics the country had faced over the past 4-5 years had been covered. On the other hand, the opposition criticised Pendarovski.

VMRO-DPMNE MP Antonio Milososki stated that there had been empty phrases intended mainly for SDSM, which would decide whether he would be the presidential candidate in 2024. Also, according to Milososki, the President trivialised the position to which the Government has brought the country.

BESA MP Fadil Zendeli stated that he was disappointed that the President hadn’t discussed the need to complete the State Election Commission.
