Pendarovski on EU Flag Issue regarding Games of Chance Law and Criminal Code

According to President Stevo Pendarovski, prior to its reaction, in writing, to the abuse of the so-called EU flag in the procedure over the changes to the games of chance law, the EU had never done that before the adoption of a law.

In the press-release issued by his Cabinet on Thursday, it is said that the communication clearly saying there was no compliance with the procedure was sent also to the Government and Parliament.

“Deputy PM Artan Grubi, as well as all Government members, are supposed to be familiar with this communication,” Pendarovski pointed out.

Regarding the changes to the Criminal Code, the President said that there had been a clear EU directive concerning confiscation of assets acquired through crime.
