News web portal Plusinfo.mk, citing anonymous sources, claims that between 2019 and 2024, the Agency for National Security (ANB) have been illegally following physically and through wire-tapping communications the leader of VMRO-DPMNE and current PM Hristijan Micksoki, prosecutor Vilma Ruskovska and several journalists.
Plusinfo.mk contacted Ruskovska, who said she suspects she has been illegally followed by Jovce Remenski, husband of former SDSM MP Frosina Remenski, against whom in the given period of time Ruskovska processed a bill of indictment. She later notified Plusinfo.mk that she may have been followed by ANB after she filed a report to its then director Viktor Dimovski that she has been receiving threats.
Journalist Ljupco Zlatev told Plusinfo.mk that whistleblowers from ANB tipped him that he has been illegally followed, adding that ANB filed criminal charges against him during the time when its Director was Viktor Dimovski, and added that he wants to see him behind bars.
Namely, ANB has notified the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) about indications of illegal behaviour by a former director and a group of employees at the agency in the period between 2019 and 2024.
The source also revealed for Plusinfo.mk that the person responsible for issuing investigative measures against the people that were targeted in these activities was current PPO Head Ljupco Kocevski. PM Mickoski stated during an event marking the Day of ANB in Skopje that he is not surprised that he has been illegally followed while he was the leader of the opposition.
“This is a half-world. Someone had nothing better to do, so they intruded the lives of other people. I hope these rodents will very soon end behind bars. Now, let us allow the organs of justice to do their job and investigate this scandal”, Mickoski said.
