PM: Government Thinking about Starting Measures over Judicial Council after Holidays

It’s certain that after the holidays, Parliament will initiate no-confidence motions against Judicial Council members elected by MPs. PM Hristijan Mickoski said on Tuesday the government was thinking about starting such activities in January.

“We’re thinking about several moves, some measures that we will take after the holidays because despite the announcements that those phenomena of anxiety, diarrhoea, cramps, and fever, those processes still exist among certain prosecutors and judges”, he stressed.

According to certain interpretations, Parliament’s non-adoption of the report on the Judicial Council’s work for 2023 may constitute grounds to dismiss members of the body elected by Parliamentarians.
